Hyundai decided to sponsor ANCAP tests rather than use Euro NCAP pathway (lower Safety Assist score meant possible 3-stars) ANCAP crash tests in September resulted in a 4 star rating (published last week)Footwell deformation (high tibia injury value) and pedal displacement were main reasons for loss of pointsDecember retest agreed to after several production changes are implementedThis Korean-built RHD model was noticeably worse than the Czech LHD model tested by Euro NCAP
