anti-lock braking SyStem (abS)

the foundation of an active safety system, ABS helps to

provide greater vehicle control when stopping in difficult

conditions like wet or slippery roads.

electronic Stability control (eSc)

eSC helps monitor your vehicle's response during certain

driving maneuvers. it then helps control the engine and

brakes to keep your Sedona on course.

traction control SyStem (tcS)

When tCS senses wheel spin during acceleration, it uses engine

power and brake force to help transfer power to the wheels that

have the most traction.

brake aSSiSt SyStem (baS)

if BAS detects emergency braking, based on how quickly you

step on the brake pedal, it instantly applies full braking force,

which helps shorten your overall stopping distance.

electronic brake-force diStribution (ebd)

to help maintain more consistent braking as vehicle loads and

weight distribution change, eBD adjusts the front-to-rear

balance of brake pressure.


Sedona is equipped with a range of passive safety systems.† Six airbags placed throughout the cabin are designed to help protect occupants in certain collisions. they include dual front advanced, dual front seat-mounted side, and full-length side-curtain airbags. the advanced front airbag system monitors the severity of a frontal impact, the presence of a front passenger and seat-belt use, and then controls airbag inflation accordingly.5
