What is it? For some reason most folks are ambivalent in categorizing

the Tribeca.

Its definitely a mid size CUV/SUV with a wonderfully smooth

drive.

We agree the styling of the grille is misleading.

StylingIts middle of the road conservative, the full sized rear view mirrors are useful,

we appreciate the Xenon headlamps of the Limited.

Our tester is the Limited version with an MSRP of $46,495.

Everything is well thought out.

We love the dash!Easy to use controls.

Impressive Harman Kardon 7 channel sound system.

We know that its personal choice!

We think the dash is cool. It has a bilingual

message screen.

The ventilation vents in the headliner are very useful in improving the air flow of the cabin.

Have you noticed the rear seat

entertainment with the 9 inch screen.

Attention to detailPleasantly surprised by the meticulous fit and finish, choice of

materials, and feel of the interior.

The red illumination of the controls is and instruments is novel.

Power drive seat with 2 position memory.

The trademark Subaru flat “horizontally opposed” cylinder engine. It’s a 3.6 liter 6 cylinder with 256 HP coupled to a 5 speed automatic

transmission.

This combination provides adequate

performance.

It does not encourage spirited driving, while

communicating a sense of competence.

Symmetrical AWDDo we have to tell you that Subaru is synonymous with AWD?

The cool thing about Subaru is their

enduring core identity of AWD and flat

“horizontally opposed” cylinder

engines.

Subaru does not try to be anything and

everything to everybody.

How does it drive?Discreet competence, does not inspire spirited driving, but there is definitely

with more than meets the eye.

Its smooth, competent,

inspires confidence.

Good low and mid range performance.

Good steering feel, strong brakes.

You would not expect anything less from

Subaru.
