DESCRIPTION
Sculptor and VCCA Program Director Craig Pleasants was asked to create a sculpture as a tribute to the strong arts connection between Amherst, Virginia and Auvillar, France, as well as a celebration of VCCA's 40th anniversary and the 17th anniversary of Moulin à Nef. "Coeur de Mon Coeur" will be a permanent installation on the hill behind Moulin à Nef, VCCA's residency for artists, writers and composers in Auvillar, France. This moving picture show commemorates that process. To learn more, go to vcca.com
