SynopsisThe film is about a man who is

involved in an undercover conspiracy, and is in retreat from the police. Along the

way, he steals the identities of others in order to avoid being

caught, and as the film unfolds, we discover that

more people are involved in the conspiracy than we first

thought.

Narrative• A scruffy looking man, wearing a blood-stained top is

washing the blood off his hands. He then washes his face with water and looks up to the mirror where he sees his reflection and just stares for a while.

• We then see him in the bedroom, where lying on the bed is a clean black suit.

• There is a montage of images to show him getting dressed into the suit, focussing on buttoning up his shirt, putting his tie on, putting his jacket on and tying up his shoe laces.

• As he is tying up his shoe laces, we see a trail of blood on the floor.

• The man will then place a black briefcase on the desk, which he opens by turning the dials on the combination lock.

• He opens the briefcase to reveal a selection of passports and drivers licenses which all have his face on, but with different names.

• He picks up the gun which is placed in the briefcase as well and puts it in his jacket pocket.

Narrative• He then closes the brief case, picking it up

before turning to walk towards the door. • As he turns to walk away, the camera

begins to follow his footsteps before turning to reveal a dead body underneath the bed.

• He leaves the room and the door is closed.

Mise-en-scene•Costumes

– First the man will be wearing a white vest top, which has blood stains on it.

– After taking this off, he will replace it with a clean suit. •A white shirt•Black suit trousers•Black jacket•Tie •Black shoes

•Lighting– The lighting will

be dark to create the illusion that it is night time.

– Warm, orange lighting will be give off by the lamps inside the room.

Mise-en-scene•Acting

– The man comes from an violent, hostile background, and is therefore quite aggressive.

– However, he is also very intelligent, and he uses this intelligence to steal the identities of others as part of the conspiracy.

•Make-up– Make-up will be used

to make the man look rough and dirty in order to reflect his aggressive lifestyle.

– He might scars or cuts on his face to portray his violence.

– There will blood on the mans arms and hands to suggest he’s killed someone

Camera work & editing• There will be a close up

the mans bloody hand turning the tap on.

• There will then be a medium close up from a high angle to show the man washing his hands in the sink. The water will be red from the blood.

• There will then be a close-up of him washing his face, which will then cut to an over the shoulder shot of him which shows his reflection in the mirror.

• There will be a slight hesitation as he looks in the mirror and we witness a feeling of regret or remorse at the man.

• The camera will then cut to him walking towards his bed. A tracking shot will be used for this.

• The camera will then pan across and zoom in to reveal a clean black suit laid out on the bed.

• There will then be a montage of images of him getting changed.– The camera will tilt from the bottom of

the mans shirt to the top, to follow the motion of him buttoning the shirt up.

– The camera will rotate around his neck to show the man putting his tie on

– A wide shot will show the man swinging his jacket on.

– This wide shot will also show him about to sit on the bed.

– There will be a close up from underneath the bed to show the man tying up his shoe laces, but also to add suspense as to what could be underneath the bed.

• The camera will pan across from the mans shoes to a trail of blood coming from underneath the bed.

• The camera will then return to the wide shot to show the man about to stand up, having tied his shoe laces.

• The camera follows him as he walks towards the desk where he picks up a briefcase from the floor. A close up of his hand touching the briefcase will be used here to ensure continuity editing.

• The camera will then show a mid shot as he swings the briefcase up and onto the desk.

• There will be a close up of the edge of the top of the desk to show the briefcase being slammed down.

• There will then be a close up of the combination dial.

• There is an extreme close up as the camera pans across to reveal him turning the dials.

• The camera will then return to a mid shot as he opens the briefcase.

• There is then an over the shoulder shot of him looking inside the briefcase. This cuts to a close up of a drivers licence which then pans across to reveal many other forms of ID, all with his face on, but with different names.

• The camera pans across until it reaches a gun which his hand grabs.

• There is a medium shot of his hand placing the gun inside his jacket pocket.

• There will be a close up of the briefcase as it is slammed shut.

• There is an extreme close up of the handle as his hand grabs it and swings it off the desk.

• The camera turns to follow his movement, but slowly pans downwards to his feet.

• The camera begins to follow his feet as he walks towards the door, but then slowly pans to the side to underneath the bed, where there is a dead body covered in blood.

• The door is still in view at the edge of the camera, so as the dead body is revealed, we see the man leave and the door slams shut.
