Some Day You ask me if I'm okay. No, I am not, is what I tell you. But I will be. Some day. And then ask me again that day, and I'll hold my head high and tell you how I'm better now than ever before. But today, I lay here broken, shattered in a million tiny pieces. Today, let me cry my rage out, let me drain my heart of all emotion, let me be empty, because that will be the beginning of being whole again. And then some day, I will laugh again with genuine happiness, smile with honest charm and believe with real trust. But today, I cry with bitter sorrow, feel with stinging pain and clench my fists with unbearable aggression. That is fine though, because even if today is rough, some day, the Sun will shine. And I shall wait patiently for that some day.

Some Day

You ask me if I'm okay. No, I am not, is what I tell you. But I will be. Some day. And then ask me again that day, and I'll hold my head high and tell you how I'm better now than ever before.

But today, I lay here broken, shattered in a million tiny pieces. Today, let me cry my rage out, let me drain my heart of all

emotion, let me be empty, because that will be the beginning of being whole again. And then some day, I will laugh again

with genuine happiness, smile with honest charm and believe with real trust. But today, I cry with bitter sorrow, feel with

stinging pain and clench my fists with unbearable aggression. That is fine though, because even if today is rough, some day, the Sun will shine. And I shall wait patiently for that some day.
