Skills Development

My first skill development that I done for my magazine was that I added a background colour using the grading tool and paint bucket tool so the background wouldn’t be plain white.

The second skill development that I done was uploading my main image. I did that by going on file – open - and then selecting the photograph that I wanted from my documents.

My third skill development was adding text to the page. What I have shown in this print screen is me adding the masthead to the front cover. This was done by typing using the “T” on photoshot, resizing it, choosing font and finally dragging it to where I wanted it.

My fourth skill development that I done was making the text from the main articles more blog and visible by using the outer glow so it would make it stand out more.

My fifth skill development was adding the photographs with the polaroid frame to the page. This was done by uploading the photos from my documents to a editing website and then saying them so I could then copy and paste them on the magazine page.

My sixth skill development was adding the white corner to the front page .

This was done by using the rectangular box on the left side, drawing it, adding the colour (white) and then finally dragging it to where I wanted it.

My seventh skill development was adding the line to my page for the reason that I wanted the magazine to be easy to navigate there this would help the reader when looking at the magazine.It was done by using the rectangular box on the left side on the photoshop page.

The following skill development was as well the use of the rectangular box on the left side on the photoshop page to add the background of the title in the contents page.

Finally these two slides show my last skill development when I was producing my music magazine which is the background for the green boxes and the with the pages number and the scissors with the lines broken down.

For the editor’s note and the double page spread I did not have any skills development to show because I already had show on my front and contents page.

This is my final music magazine after I finished it on photoshop.
