They also have more facial based piercings such as septum's and Monroe's. They also often more out there hairstyles to enforce the idea of rebellion

Fans of rock music tend to defy stereotypes such as wearing more masculine style clothes. They also defy stereotypes by having bold hair and multiple facial based piercings. They often don’t quite fit in with everyone else so they turn to rock as an escape from the outside world. People who listen to rock are stereotyped as being scary and violent but actually they are common advocates of peace and are calming they like to prove that someone's music taste and appearance does not represent their character
