What it did?

• Land Rover decided to make this moment memorable by driving Range Rover SUV • over an 11-foot bridge that

was made entirely out of paper. Yes! You heard it right, just plain old paper.• This remarkable event took

place in Suzhou, China, where it took three days to hand-build this bridge.

Who designed this bridge?• The man responsible for the

construction and design of the bridge is no other than Steve Messam, famous for his unusual builds.• Like earlier this year, made

from 22,000 sheets of paper was a functioning packhorse that he created in the Lake District• That’s not it, he wrapped a

timber-frame cottage in the wool of 300 sheep six years ago in Wales. RANGE ROVER SPORT GEARBOXES

How did he do it?• With the help of temporary

framework, wooden supports were used to hold the stacked papers in place.• When they were done, the

wooden framework was removed and this spectacular, 3.4-metre high, freestanding paper arch was there to behold.

Was it an ordinary Range Rover?• There wasn’t anything special about it but

the All-Terrain Progress Control System which helped Zhou to carry out the stunt by automatically

• maintaining a set speed, making it easier to tackle the difficult surfaces all by itself. Thus the driver is given the opportunity to fully concentrate on steering the vehicle.

• This system is basically designed to assist drivers in pulling away on slippery, wet grass and other surfaces.

• But RAV4 got unique bumper design, sharp-edged LED headlamps, and sleeker grill.
