QUESTION FOUR

Where do you live?

I was only able to hand out my questionnaire to those who lived in the South East of England, so hopefully this will not effect my evaluation too much. If I did want people form different areas to answer my questionnaire I could put it up online allowing a vast audience to reply.

QUESTION FIVE

What term do you think yourself best represents ‘short form’ films?

I received different responses to this question, for example:

‘Films not long enough to be considered a feature film, and has more driven/ compact narrative.’

‘Films no longer than 30 minutes’

‘A hiatus’

All of these answers do apply to the short form, therefor those I asked do understand what a short film is.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion from what quantitative research I’ve collected my audience enjoy most the genres Horror and Drama, therefor I want my story to be a drama and perhaps have horror features, for example having dark lighting and suspense. Also I asked what themes and issues would like to be seen explored, and I had response - ‘How adults are perceived as always right when they are wrong.’ This is a issue I want to explore in my story and I think I can effectively do this. My audience also believe that parents are underrepresented in films so I am going to experiment with this representation.
