Skyfall poster

The way that James Bond is presented in this poster shows how powerful he is. The picture of him takes up the whole of the poster and he looks much taller then all of the buildings in the background which shows power and high status.

The date of release and the sponsors are very small in comparison to the poster. This is so that the emphasise on SKYFALL is bigger. It is cleaver because if the date of release text was bigger than it would take away the power that the SKYFALL text has.

The background of the poster is in black and white whereas James Bond is in full colour but he is wearing black and white. This creates the impression that James Bond should be the focus and nothing else is important.

The way that the picture of James Bond is a low angle shot this creates more power for James bond and it makes him look like he is on a mission and he is determined which is what the producers want him to look like.

The title "SKYFALL£ is in a bold simple text which shouts out power and authority. This is good for the poster because James Bond is all about power and status.
