I have chosen this name because it is very memorable and stands out because it is so unique. The name fusion represents the range of genres that the magazines has in it. The word fusion also represents bring people together through the power of music.

The genre of the magazine.

The genre : A range of popular modern genres such as dance ,pop and indie.

I have decided to use these genres because I wanted my magazine to represent modern popular music. Also through my questionnaire the answers were that people prefer a small range of similar genres so this backs up what the people want , Dance ,pop and indie are all genres that regularly cross over so I thought these would be a good mixture of genres.

Price and frequency of publication The frequency of my magazine will be monthly.I decided to publish my magazine monthly due to finding out in my research about magazines currently available in the UK that almost all magazines publish monthly and It seems to be a successful strategy. I also I feel if I was to publish a magazine less that monthly the content may get diluted and I will not end up with the top quality articles I am looking for within my magazine. I have decided the price I will charge for my magazine will be £2I have decided this price due to the finding from my survey suggest people only wanted to pay a low price for the magazine , this will also mean I will charge significantly less that other magazines such as Mixmag so will hopefully take readers away from them. Although £2 may not be enough to make my magazines so I will do a similar what NME have done and have a large amount of Ads to increase revenue.

-On the first page before the contents there will be a short note from the editor.-Interviews with the latest and biggest stars-reviews of Gigs and albums-Previews of Gigs and albums-Freebies/Competition-Gossip -Articles about other music related items such as sound systems.
