Models: Before and After Photoshop Transformations

DESCRIPTION

Photoshop demonstration for Members of Congress showing how models are radically manipulated to look "picture perfect." Graphic designers use programs like Photoshop to drastically alter models bodies to fit the fashion industry’s ideal beauty standards. In the eyes of the fashion industry even professional models are never thin enough or “perfect” looking. Most of the ads that you see in the US don’t actually reflect what these real models look like in real life. Here's a couple of examples that our web agency Rad Campaign mocked up in Photoshop when Allyson Kapin, co-founder of Rad Campaign testified during a Congressional Briefing.
