TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES We faced some technical difficulties when

making the OTS. These include:• learning how to work the cameras and

tripods• learning how to work iMovie• learning to work Final Cut Pro• having some of our work deleted and

having to try to redo what we had already done

• trying to make videos the right size to upload to vimeo.

PRELIMINARY TASKS NOWCompared to doing the continuity task, when

making the opening title sequence we had one less person in our group so when making the OTS, we were only a pair.

For the continuity task, the third person was in charge of the camera, me and Chloe were in it and we all edited the footage. However, while making the OTS, me and Chloe had to film it, be in it and edit it, so we had to learn to do those things.

PROGRESS, STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

Progress

I have learnt how to use Final Cut Pro and I have used difficult techniques.

Strengths

My strengths were that I was good at directing Chloe and I was good at taking directions from Chloe. Also, we were good at managing our time when it came to planning, filming and editing our opening title sequence.

Weaknesses

Our main weakness was that we although final cut was really good software, when trying to keep the red colour, we would have needed really professional software that would have done it better.
