KELVINA SIMPLE MAN WITH A NOT SO SIMPLE PAST

WORKING TITLE- KELVINWE DECIDED TO GO WITH THE TITLE OF KELVIN AS IT’S SIMPLE ENOUGH THAT IT WONT TAKEAWAY FROM THE MAIN STORY OF THE CHARACTER. ITS ALSO A BROAD ENOUGH TITLE THAT IT WONT GIVE AWAY THE THEME OF THE SHORT FILM TO THE AUDIENCE STRAIGHT AWAY. WE HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP THIS AS A WORKING TITLE BECAUSE WE ARE NOT 100% WHETHER IT WILL FIT IN WITH THE MAIN NARRATIVE.

WE HAVE ALSO DECIDED TO GO WITH THE TAGLINE “ A SIMPLE MAN WITH A NOT SO SIMPLE PAST” WE WENT WITH THIS BECAUSE WE WANTED TO KEEP THE AUDIENCE GUESSING AND INTRIGUED TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE NARRATIVE.

STORYLINE

• THE MAIN NARRATIVE IS BASED ON A 60 YEAR OLD ELDERLY GENTLEMAN NAMED KELVIN. KELVIN IS A SIMPLE MAN WHO WORKS AND LIVES ON MILL FARM CAMPSITE AS A GENERAL JANITOR DOING ODD JOBS AROUND THE SITE. HOWEVER HE HOLDS A COMPLICATED AND DANGEROUS PAST

The documentary will start with a few shots of Kelvins house and maybe the countryside around it, also we will be introducing the main character, Kelvin with a range of shots of his face, tattoos which he had as a hells angel and also his knuckles which are scarred from past violence in his life.

Exposition

We will then start the interview and begin to ask him questions about how old he was when he joined the hells angels and a few experiences he had in the gang.

CHARACTERS- KELVINOur documentary is going to be based on an elderly gentleman who is a ex Hells angel, named Kelvin.We are going to be doing a documentary style short film in which we will be following kelvin around his work place and talking about his childhood alongside other stories .
