Self-taught and raised in a working class neighborhood in Jerusalem, Ilan has spent long periods of his painting career, especially in Toledo and Seville, where he imbibed the rich and colorful music and dance of Spanish culture. Itach methods were already used by Renaissance artists, whose created their own paintings and colors: "In our times it's very difficult to find strong, deep colors" -he said. In addition, we'll have presentations by Spanish artists, which will complete the list of works inspired by Flamenco: José Luis Ponce (painting); Rafael Erregiro (dolls) "Flamenco Dolls"; Paco Sanchez (photo) "Looks of Dancers"; José Tarriño (design) "VISUAL Composition Costume on Stage."; and Gonzalo Conradi (painting and sculpture). The work of the French painter Jean Lamouroux is also part of this group of artists focused on the theme of flamenco. After the opening, Andalusian wines will be served.
