I liked the idea this black and white picture of a forest. The black and white idea will depict death and life:Black = death

White = Life

The idea of a black and white based image will show the emotion portrayed in the bands eyes.

This video idea is a simplistic idea where the vocalist will pursue in running around a building, where he cannot escape.

The bars as such will depict how he is trapped in a building like a prison.

As he is running round the corridors of this building he will find a mirror. When the lyrics state “Feel the greed as I begin to bleed” when he looks in the mirror he will see blood dripping from his hand.

To show how the vocalist wants to be free, there will be close ups of him portraying anxiety and confusion.

These will be cut quickly to emphasize.

When the chorus begins the scene will cut to the band playing in a confined room.

The liveliness and the atmosphere the band will create when they are playing will show how they are trying to get free.

“He opens the door, And throws me to the floor”

The vocalist will eventually find a door and open it, falling straight back down to the ground. There is actually nothing there throwing him to the floor, it is an unknown force.

He will the proceed to get up and be in a room with a bed in it.

The vocalist will lie down on the bed as if he is going to his death bed.

When the lyrics say “set free” at the end, the scene will cut to the band playing together again.

Mood Board

Representation:

The band will be dressed in usual clothing, black boots, jeans etc.

The band will be showing their anger and emotion in their performance in the confined room.

The use of lighting In this idea will be important. Lights will be directed at the band members in different ways to show the different moods.

The lighting of the corridor will be very bright, like a mental home corridor.

The use of black and white will give an interesting tone to the video.
