Inari ŌkamiInari Okami is the Japanese god of; Rice and agriculture, among other things.
They are one of the principal Gods of Shinto (the ethnic religion of Japan).
It is believed that Inari Ōkami makes the rice grow for those she/he favours and will take the shape of a fox or have Spirits shaped as foxes do her bidding.
Inari Okami is worshipped in more than one-third of Japanesetemples, which always contain fox Statues and the colour red, which is seen as a symbol of respect and good fortune.
