Firstly, my model is using direct address, this is important for a magazine as they use the technique to catch the reader/audience’s eye. Secondly, there is enough space/room to put the title of my magazine “Teen Rulez!” Thirdly, the photograph was taken using a medium/mid-shot, all photographs used for the front covers will use this camera technique.However, the one disadvantage of the photograph would be that it is a little bit out of focus/blurred.

The difference between this photograph and the other four photographs is that the model is positioned differently as her arm is leaning on the film camera. The other difference between this photograph to the other four is that there is more room/space to put the coverlines as well as the main coverline for the Film magazine.However, the one disadvantage of the photograph would be that the photograph should’ve been cut above the waist.

Chosen Photograph- I have chosen this photograph to use as the front cover for my film magazine as direct address is used, this technique is highly used on magazine front covers. The focus of the photograph is visible for the target audience to see from a distant if it was stacked in a shop. There is enough space to put a barcode, the date, price, masthead, coverlines and main coverline. The body language of the model links well with the main coverline of the magazine.
