Besides these she works on Photography-Textile –Creative writings and gives workshops.

Asyla’s writings are inspirations from cultural morals and behaviors. Also reviews from trips and events. The Love for the English language comes from family roots on Windward-islands. Furthermore she aims to Outdoors Residency projects to lecture on these.
Art is a Creative form to express the feeling which comes instantaneously from intuition or instinct and put in action - it’s than visible for others to admire. Above all, it’s an integrated action between the work and the artist that finds itself into that space of exploration – contentment and commitment. A painting can strike someone’s heart (visitor) looking at it and feel belonged afterwards. The Art and buyer become a connected magnetism. Along with this exploration, a heritage exist and to hold on traditionally, the artist has to go on a journey of constant change especially when the expressions are derived from own visions.
Finding that space to inter-dialogue and connect with the inner spaces, Asyla ten Holt also developed workshops for Arts & Wellbeing and Cultural Exchange titled :‘Blossom up your inner creativity where arts -prose and body workouts are connected.

Funark is an organization, founded by Asyla Holt, which promote Visual Arts Creativities /Cultural activities and Rhythmical Stretching. These by means with Fund proposals organizing workshop-activities for youth and adults, 60+ and handicaps within communities.
The foundation exists 25 years (’87) which in past explored the creative field under guidance of Visual Artist Asyla Holt living in Curacao and Bonaire. Through her concern with public non-accessibility for many artists, she began interviewing Writers, Visual artists, Performers in Music-Dance and Theatre for more exposure in society. Her effort to write in two local newspapers (Dutch and Papiamentu) was supported by Local businesses and Eric La Croes, which took charge in polishing the native language before publishing. Simultaneously ‘Funark’ continued promoting Arts and Cultural outdoor activities like Gift and Craft shows and Carifesta in the Caribbean. With these Asyla gives courses to enhance talents and visual guiding aspects-also bodywork stretching.
Within occupying 35 years of Visual Arts-Creative writings and Therapy bodyworks, Bonaire is important to mention, where Asyla supported Arts and Crafts from beginning (’84-’89) . Introducing Art at Youth centers – via Social Government Plan and attending Art markets while founding a Workshop Art Center gave sustain to a lift up Bonaire Art Gallery there. In meanwhile her rhythmical poems and prose emerged during these times.

Connecting the inner source of creativity will improve Community liabilities and through a foundation it will define its place in society. That’s why, to improve stability inside this perspective and have more exposures publicly, ‘Funark’ wants to enlarge its 26th year 2016 with free membership for a year. Simultaneously it will utilize and attract arrangements in organizing debates and have support in propagating artistic events by ways of writing articles and media-programs.
Recruiting Sponsors is main reason to facilitate and contribute in the working field of the artists and to bring awareness to the public.
