Echoing Bliss

In a flashback, it all came to me again. At the time, I didn't think I would ever get as far as to let myself join and disappear in the crowds like a small drop of water vanishes in the oceans. I thought I would always stand out and stand away, with my pains and my sorrows. I thought I

would never be able to free myself from those suffocating mental walls. And the bitter truth is, when the opportunities to scratch away all masks

and curtains of terror did come, I simply closed my eyes and turned back, because I was just not ready to let go. I had gotten so used to, so

comfortable, and so peaceful with the screeching memories in my head than then, I just didn't want to leave my state of echoing bliss. I didn't

know then that time is a being so powerful, and so manipulative, it slowly absorbs your pain while you're sitting with the delusion of having

held on to it. And time cheated with me too. It made me rise high, spread my wings and soar into the sky one more time, and took me far.
