Art is Important for Peace

Arts funding is our cultural legacy; the free entry to museums,

library services, they bring innovation to business, and they

are at the heart of our film and computer games industries. In

an increasingly trans-disciplinary world, innovation and

creative thinking are priceless.

The Arts have the power to move us, to provoke debate, to

educate, and challenge accepted wisdom. The arts are our

cultural conscience.
