HOW WILL YOUR CONTENTS RELATE TO YOUR COVER? WHAT COLOUR SCHEME WILL YOU USE?

My contents page will relate to my cover as it shall hold the same house style and theme so when you see the contents page you will know that its from the magazine "Bounce". It shall follow it also by having the same fonts and colours which will also make you realise what magazine its from and also because they follow the theme of pop. Currently I still need cover lines for my magazine but when I complete one I shall incorporate it into my cover (used kind of like a slogan). The images I will be taking will be reflecting my theme of pop so the clothes will be very sharp, clean and bright.

DO YOU NEED TO TAKE SOME MORE PHOTOGRAPHS?

I shall be taking one more photographs for my cover page that will be a further out shot of my chosen artist "Freya Stratford" possibly holding an instrument or some type of prop that will represent pop. The clothing will be very bright, upbeat and colourful. I may also take photographs of other artists and bands so I have some variety within my pop magazine. Therefore I shall probably take a picture of a man as it gives variety of gender as well, who will also be wearing bright colours.

WILL YOU INCLUDE AN EDITOR’S LETTER? HOW WILL THEY SPEAK TO THE AUDIENCE?

I shall include an editors letter as it makes the magazine more personal and give a feel for the theme of the pop. Also including the editors letter makes it seem the magazine comes from a person not from a corporation and therefore the reader feels more involved to the magazine.

WHAT CATEGORIES WILL FEATURE IN YOUR MAGAZINE?

The categories I shall include are “Features” and “Bands and Artists”. This way I have the main story lines in features such as “One Direction in the Wrong Direction” and many other interesting story lines. I shall have bands and artists all on different pages so my audience can find the product they like and go straight to that page to find the latest gossip.

HOW MANY COLUMNS WILL YOUR CONTENTS PAGE HAVE? 1/2/3 OR 4?

I shall have three columns with the bottom 2nd and 3rd column joining as it shall be the subscription information. The 1st column shall have the editors letter, small cover image and next page information. The second column will have the main image about the main story, and the contents information. The third column will be three images about three main story's.

WHAT FONT SIZES WILL YOU USE FOR CATEGORIES?

LISTINGS?The main title for the contents page will be a large font size as it needs to be easily visible and clear to the reader what page it is. For the smaller titles they small be about a 16 font size. The main story lines and other interesting headlines will be about a 20 font size. The editors letter will be a 14 font size so its visible but not so big it takes over the whole page. The smaller text will be what’s on what pages and because that is a lot of text its going to be about a 12 font size.

WILL YOU INCLUDE A SUBSCRIPTION?

I shall be including a subscription as it is important to promote my magazine and if this was real have the magazine selling and being produced at a steady rate, and by having people subscribing it will help this.
