Audience Research For our target research we went out into town and to collages to find out what they thought of the shop, what they like and dislike and what the want on a poster and flyer. First off we showed them some pictures of the shop and some items of clothing and asked for their opinion on the shop and items and if they would shop there. Here are their thoughts… Person’s age, gender and occupation Thought on shop and items What do they want to see on the posters and flyers Age 18 – Student - Male Looked nice, Very hipster, Vintage looking. Would have a look round and may buy items if resalable price. Location of shop, Opening times, Website, Age 17 – Employed – Female More into mainstream fashion E.g. Top Shop/new look. Don’t like second hand items but like the idea of vintage clothing Models showing off clothes, Photo of shop, Location, Opening Tines, Social Media Age 16 – Student – Male Loved the idea of a vintage shop. Had been their once and would go again. Likes how the clothes are recycled. Shop looks very inviting and reflects the mood of the shop well Would make it bright and colorful, as it would reflect the look of the shop. Social media. Make it look old fashioned like. Website, Section about the owner.

Audience Research

For our target research we went out into town and to collages to find out what they thought of the shop, what they like and dislike and what the want on a poster and flyer.

First off we showed them some pictures of the shop and some items of clothing and asked for their opinion on the shop and items and if they would shop there. Here are their thoughts…

Age 17 – Employed – Female More into mainstream fashion E.g. Top Shop/new look. Don’t like second hand items but like the idea of vintage clothing

Age 23 – student – Female Looks a bit rundown, Wouldn’t go in as looks messy as to many clothes. But like how they are using old clothes as its modern and hipster.

Models, prices, opening hours, map, social media, playful colors, Happy colors, not black and white.

Age 29 – part time student - Female Shop – Never heard of it. Don’t think they would go as on other side of town to where they shop. Like how its an individual shop. Unique product they liked.

Would like a map, Opening times, Models on poster, About the shop.

From this we now know what the public want on the poster, what they think about the shop and who is more likely to visit the shop. We know that we can aim it for young people from

both genders. Most liked the idea of using social media and a map of the shop. The opeing hours and some examples of the products that they sell.
