Photojournalism

Photojournalism is a particular form of journalism that creates images in order to tell a news story.

Photojournalism is distinguished from other close branches of photography such as: documentary photography, street photography, celebrity photography and social documentary photography. The beginning of modern photojournalism took place in 1925, in Germany.

It has changed over the years because the technology has evolved over time. The photos use to be made up from film, but now we use cameras to capture the picture. Because the technology has updated, we now have pictures that are in colour and of better quality.
