American Honey

■ The genre is a British-American drama road film written and directed by British filmmaker Andrea Arnold.

■ The film stars Sasha Lane, Shia LaBeouf, and Riley Keough. It is Arnold's first film to be set and filmed outside of the United Kingdom.

■ A teenage girl with nothing to lose joins a traveling magazine sales crew, and gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard partying, law bending and young love as she criss-crosses the Midwest with a band of misfits.

Missouri, Iowa and North Dakota so only in the US.■ Casting[edit]■ Arnold "street cast" by searching beaches, streets, and approaching

drunk teenagers.[18] Arnold discovered Sasha Lane while she was on spring break with her friends; Lane decided to audition for the film and won the lead role.[19][20][21][22]
