School Art teacher plays a valuable role first in evoking interest for art in the

student and secondly in guiding him/her to use the different art rendering tools. The

true aesthetic sense in the child is initiated and nurtured by the school art teacher.

PDAF Team therefore gives importance to the recognition of the role of the school

art teacher in promotion of art and creating the base of future artists in the country.

PDAF Team accordingly has announced Prizes to reward the School Art Teachers.

The Art Teachers who secure the 3 highest total of points scored by their respective

students will be chosen as the Award winning Art Teachers in each city.

The application form for Art TAP has a mandatory field to fill in with the name of the

School Art Teacher and his/her email ID. Therefore every student entering the

competition has to name his Art Teacher in the application form. The entries in the

Art TAP students contest will be judged on grades Outstanding, Impressive, Very

Good, Good, and Fair. There grades will be assigned 5,4,3,2, and 1 points

respectively. In each city, the students enrolled in the contest will be sorted out by

the name of the Art Teacher, and their assigned points totalled. The Art Teacher

who secures the highest total of points scored by his/her students will be chosen as

the Gold Award winning Art Teacher. The Art teacher securing the second highest

number of points will get the Silver Award and similarly the third highest will get the

Bronze Award.

The Award winning Art Teachers will get prize money as follows:

Prize Awards to School Art Teacher in every city having 10 or more entries:

Gold Award and prize of Rs. 1000, Silver Award and prize of Rs 750, and

Bronze Award and prize Rs. 500. The cheque of prize money will be

accompanied by a Certificate of Appreciation from PDAF.

You will receive an email showing different ways for payment of the donation of Rs.

2600 to the PDAF.

The kit of your choice containing Artist Quality Camlin Products will be couriered to

you at your address.

You need to photograph the artwork painted by your son/daughter and upload its

image on the website.

The image will be judged by experienced artists.

Certificate will be given in the name of the child.
