Notes

• Vector – based graphics, not pixet- based/ easier to manipulate/ this is clear, sharper, easier to manipulate

• Pencil and Paintbrush tool = free- hand shapes• Selection too: scale up, scale down, rotate, distort and markers.• Direct selection tool- brings up anchor points and paths. Allows you to manipulate vector graphic. Handlebars help you to move things.• Pen tool- to add/ take away anchor points

Notes

• Colour/ fill and stroke: on top tool bar • You can use the stroke size button to change thickness of your line/font • Colour guide helps you with your colour scheme• Use layers to give you more control. Lock layers to protect them • Create outlines – right click on selection or direct selection tool (text). This will allow you to manipulate the text further.• Save the text/graphic as an – Ai file, then export it as a- png file – save it in high quality

After using only some different colours, a pen tool and stroke for

the outline of the letters.
