#my startup story

There’s a certain,curious Group of People You can spot them at every airport.

what’s interesting is when they make travel plans, they never listen

to their travel agent.

they buy their tickets and off they go… They mysteriously disappear letting few people know

where they are bound! All we know is they embark on amazing journeys to see places in far away lands. Even they can’t imagine what their journey will hold.

some of them are business travelers, some leisure. Some travel in herds,

some explore the world solo.

But they all fear the same thing – their memories to be forgotten

and their stories to go untold.

and they all agree that some of their most precious possessions are their travel

memories. Something unique they know, that shapes their world.

i’m max and i have toadmit I was being a bit selfish here – all I really wanted to know was where

these rebels were going and more importantly how they’ve done it!

here’swhat i did I spent nights and days trying to unriddle this conundrum

i’ve got it!

i shallcreate a framework to save and share travel memories.

somethingnew & honest something that will distill the essence of travel

memories without losing their magic

it’s a win-win With our tools the true travelers can save their memories and share

them with the World – they’d become true travel tastemakers!

i called the best people I knew to do the job and join me on this adventure…

to tell the world the stories of Travel World Passport and share the magic…

to nurture our adventurers and explorers

lara to stir things up and make them buzz…and

the idea seemed

simple...but the challenge was great. As you’d expect of travelers, it’s hard for us to stay still. We were all over the place- Australia, Poland, Scotland and the United States...and so came the problem of managing a distributed team.

but we’ve learned to embrace it with dignity and style…

the budget was almost non-existent, so we had to try out all things marketing that came free

– we settled for LOVE MARKETING, based on social media and honest communication of values.

it still is a lesson we learn day by day. We make mistakes and travel into the unknown but with all

the great feedback from users we feel more than alive. We’re in it together and registered users are more than just audience – our beta community co-creates this project with us.

I am quite enthusiastic about TWP and wish you every success with it. It's great to see something unique come out of Australia.
