Rab is one of the island of the Kvarner Bay archipelago in the north of the Croatian Adriatic Sea.

• In addition to the ancient town of the same name, there are seven other idyllic places scattered over the island: Barbat, Banjol, Palit, Kampor, Mundanije, Supetarska Draga and Lopar.

• The days of the middle ages, “Rapska Fjera”, takes place on the St. Jacob's day, on St. Anna's day and on St. Christopher's day. The Kaldanac, The old town of Rab, is then transformed into a medieval town. Around 400 costumed citizens of Rab, members of various associations are showing the guests  the medieval crafts and how people in the middle ages on the island were working, eating and celebrating. The programme lasts for three days and takes place in the evening hours.
