The Dooars or Duars (in Bengali & Nepali) are the

floodplains and foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in

North-East India around Bhutan. Duar means door in

Nepali and Bengali languages, and the region forms

the gateway to Bhutan from India.

“Dooars” the word is derived from the word ‘duar’

or ‘door’. The name signifies its location as a

gateway to the hill stations of North Bengal &

Sikkim as well as Bhutan and Assam. The 130 X 40

sq.km

Dooars, part of the North Bengal, is an extremely

adventurous destination with choices for all niches

of travelers. From exploring the unfamiliar jungles

of Gorumara to hanging around with tigers at Buxa

Tiger Reserve.

Land deveopment works has been started.This

cottege is projected to build beside Jayanti River and

opposite of BOXA renge Which is northan part of

West Bengal.
