Physical Education, Team BuildingActivity 1: High Ropes Course and Trust Building
This activity is designed to build the participants confidence in themselves, their team and their safety equipment – it is also really exciting! Part 1: The students will begin with a series of activities designed to encourage positive group dynamics and promote feeling of peer trust. The warm-up activities will culminate in trust falls, an activity where students are blind-folded and fall backwards from a platform, to be caught by the rest of their team members.

Physical Education, Team BuildingPart 2: The High Ropes course consists of 2 elements
Leap of Faith and Dangling DuoLeap of faith requires students to climb a 10 meter high pole and jump from the top of the pole to a “Trapeze” bar – they arethen lowered to the ground. Dangling Duo requires two students to assist each other to climb a large ladder, with rungs 1.5M apart.
Both of these activities are staples of educational High Ropes/Challenge courses around the world and will be professionally facilitated through the supervision and instruction of IA staff members and making use of only high-quality CE rated equipment.
