“Water from Eden”

Doing Good in Mali....

It all started with a crazy idea

Contact was made with Rotarians in Bamako, Mali

Wheelchairs were shipped out, not once but twice

Mali Aid became the second crazy idea

From Appleby .......

Through the Sahara Desert ....

To Mali ......

The Eden Clinic, part of the legacy

Dinfara

But water is the key to survival

In Dinfara this was the source of water for the village

How much better if this was the reality

So the Dinfara Water Project gets underway

Yes, this will really hold a water tank

Food production is also a challenge

The header tank takes shape

As do the taps throughout the village

Villagers continue to use the local well

The water tank, complete with solar panels

“Water from Eden”, as expressed by Sunny Akuopha

Fresh, potable water throughout the village

People from other areas come to see the “Water from Eden”

The Clinic finally has fresh water readily available

Funding was through Club, District and Foundation Grants
