There are many planets and their names are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
Facts about the planets! Mercury: The closest planet to the centre
of the solar system. Venus: There are long flowing rivers on
Venus. Earth: The only planet with human life on
it. Mars: There are long dark lines on Mars
but nobody knows what they are and what form them or what they do.
Some more facts about the rest of the planets.
Jupiter: It’s the biggest. Its orbit is between Saturn and Mars.
Saturn: Saturn has 5 rings around it. Uranus: No space craft have ever visited
the planet. Neptune: It was discovered on the 23rd
September 1846.
