TECH SQUARE JOB FAIR

OVERVIEW2

Program Overview

+ Tech Square Job Fair promises a different experience

from traditional career fairs for attendees & companies

+ “No Suits, No Resumés, Just You” approach ensuresd

casual conversations between companies and attendees

versus the stiff, “meat-market” feel of most career fairs

3

Program Flow 1+ Pre-registered and walk-in attendees were welcomed at

the registration station, where they received their passport and name tags

+ Attendees were guided upstairs to complete their passport, including getting their polaroid picture taken and identifying which companies they wanted to talk to

+ Hourly sponsored snack bars provided both companies and attendees with another location to migrate for conversations

4

Program Flow 2+ After attendees had made their rounds, they recorded

which companies they had conversed with on their passports, and then turned these in for a chance to win Shaky Beats Festival tickets

+ Passport data was input into the attendee database, which was later shared with companies to obtain the resumés and contact information of attendees

+ The passport polaroids were used to create a visual representation of the quantity and diversity of Tech Square Job Fair attendees, shown on a later slide
