My project facilitator is Petty Officer Francis Palmer.

He is a EN2 also known as a Engineman

Petty Officer Second Class.

I met him in Kennesaw, GA at the

recruiting station .

He is also my recruiter.

My paper was on enlisting in the military.

My paper relates to me because I enlisted in the military.

I made flyers and posters to put up at my church to raise the money and the supplies for the boxes.

I also wrote up a letter to send to my family and friends to help with the supplies and funds also.

One problem I came across was trying to get the supplies from the people helping to me.

Trying to match up my schedule and my project facilitators schedule was another problem I had.

I also had trouble filling out the customs papers correctly so the boxes were able to be shipped.

There are some things that are not allowed to be sent over seas. A lot of times people send things that would remind them of home and themed packages. They also need things like clothing or socks so if you can get in contact with the people you are sending to, you can help with the things they really need.

He is a Hospital Corpsman in Afghanistan. He is the head of his 17 men unit. They have been in Afghanistan since January and are expected home in July.

I also decided to go out and buy some supplies I thought they might enjoy!

The people at the post office were also very helpful. They helped me fill out the customs papers and get the boxes ready for shipment.

I ended up getting the funds and supplies to send 4 full boxes.

This is the letter I wrote to the sailors to tell them what I was doing and thanking them for their service!
