People live all over the world can connect with

one another through

Now-a-days, in a single touch we can gain a lot of information, Using this

technology

For Mobile Communication, now-a-days we use wireless access technology.

In recent years, There is a development in wireless access

technology. Due to the NUMBER OF USERSTHE ANTENNASare introduced .

Symbol for antennas

The antennas convert radio frequency electrical current into an electromagnetic wave.

HOW THE ANTENNAS WORK?HOW THE ANTENNAS WORK?

•limited allocated spectrum results in a limit on capacity• radio propagation environment and the mobility of users • give rise to signal fading and spreading in time, space and frequency• limited battery life at the mobile device poses power

Why do we use smart antennas?

In smart antennas we use Multipath wave propagation.

To reduce data losing and fading problems in signals.

TYPES OF SMART ANTENNAS

• Switched beam.

- It is single, with a finite number of fixed

patterns.

• Adaptive array.

-It has an infinite number of patterns for mobile communication.

Increase the data speed and reduce the error rate. Track multiple user. Reduce system complexity. Reduce interference.

Now-a-days, the smart antennas have received much attention among people in the least few years.

World's smallest Antenna.

Indian scientists develop world's smallest antenna.
