DESCRIPTION
VDC believes that there are several trends to watch out for in the RFID market in 2012. RFID will find its way into more, harsher, user environments which will drive innovative vertical and application solutions. NFC will go beyond payments and there will be now-term opportunities for NFC-enabled mobile advertising, infotainment, loyalty and access platforms for mobile devices. During this QuickCast, VDC's Mike Liard discusses these and other key trends for 2012 and takes a look back at few of the hottest trends and topics for RFID in 2011.
