APRIL 2, 2015
A massive fire broke out at a fuel tank storage facility located in Port of Santos in Brazil. It took 9 days to eventually extinguish the fire.
Brazilian Fire Department utilized almost all foam concentrate available in the country without success.
JUNE 8th, 2015The State Emergency Service of Ukraine confirmed that an oil base in Vasylkivsky district near Kiev caught on fire and, due to the characteristics of the incident, there was a high probability of explosion.Ukrainian Fire Department utilized more 120 tons foam concentrate, but could not extinguish the fire.

AGENDA
CAUSE
- The impossibility of visual fixation of overheated zones- Reduced visibility in the fire zone- The inability to assess visual fire hazard- Limited ability for redirecting the flow of foam for
firefighting and water flow for wall cooling

SOLUTION
Visual monitoring and remote control firefighting process using a helicopter (drone)
SOLUTION
Infrared remote control for the firefighting, permitting to redirect water and foam flow according to data collected from
helicopter drone
SOLUTION

SUMMARY
MAIN ADVANTAGES:
• Significantly improves the efficiency of firefighting actions.
• Reduces the cost of firefighting.
• Reduces the pollution with dirty foams and contaminated water.
• Reducing the amount of foam used.
• Allows visible and infrared analysis.
• Permits assessing of the fire at night, under snow, through smoke and with heavy rain.
All these benefits for a system cost equivalent to five tons of foam concentrate.Note: The use of this technique can save over twenty tons of foam concentrate.
