ACKNOWLEGDEMENT

Our University education is teacher centered and one way i.e. accumulated information if transferred to students from teachers, students never initiate to find new things and solve practical problems. There were an experiment and the course was designated in that manner also. That’s why they were unable to utilize their degree in real life. But the recent change in the Bachelor Degree course tries to initiate in this field. So, the students have to prepare report on any subjects or field report as a practical fulfillment of Bachelor Degree. This step helps to acquire some practical knowledge. During the preparation of report data have to analyzed, interpreted by own self. That’s why, this report writing become very difficult for me. But I have taken these problems in natural way because we have never initiated such work will probably help me in my higher education. Similarly, I would like to thank my teacher who too oriented the classes and due to there blessings; it becomes much easy for me to prepare the report. -Presenters

INTRODUCTION TO NEPAL TELECOM

• Established in 2016 B.S.• Mohan Aakashbaani , the official name of Nepal Telecom.• It was named as Nepal Telecom in Baisakh 1, 2061 B.S.• Company was registered under the companies act 2053

B.S.• Modernizes the telecommunication services and expand its

services in Nepal.• It has also link with Nepal Police club for the development

of football and cricket in Nepal.

MISSION

• Create optimum conditions for the development of telecommunication sector in Nepal.• Serve public interests in terms of quality, choice

and value for money.• Healthy competition among the service providers

and the nation in it’s drive for socio-economic advancement through efficient private sector participation

• Regulate acceptable quality of telecommunication services of all types making them affordable and accessible to all the country’s overall development.

friendly services, new schemes and features.

• Strengths• It is easier to create economies of scale thereby

increasing return on investment. NT market especially Kathmandu is a high density area, which means more population per tower. This means lower expenditure cost.

• Active management team.• Manipulate price.• Strong Brand-People have trust and are loyal to the

company.• Sustainable business modeling.

• Weaknesses• Low signal strength• Large no. of call drops and low quality of

connections• Late adaption of new technology• High overhead cost• Low quality customer care service and braches

hydropower, telecom industry, manpower, import, export, etc.

• Threats• Competition due to private telecom entering in

the industry with new and advance technology • Shrinking economy due to unhealthy economic

condition• Increasing in rules and regulations due to

frequent change in government rules and regulations, telecom industry is not able to take a risk to explore new technology and market.• According to research, health related problems

due to excessive use of mobile phones.

CONCLUSION

• Nepal Telecom has always put its endeavors(attempts) in providing its valued customers a quality service since its inception.• To achieve this goal, technologies best meeting

the interest of its customer has been selected.• The nation wide reach of organization, from urban

areas to economically non-viable most remote locations, is the result of all these efforts that makes Nepal Telecom different from others.
