My Paintings.I began to paint for fun.I was studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Houston and one of my electives was History of Art. One project assigned to us was to go to the Houston Museum of Art.Whilst walking through the Modern Art section I came upon a large white canvas with a black splash of paint in the middle of it. I read the caption with painter’s name and it was Miro. Hum! I thought I can paint similar works. I took some art classes, but due to my work schedule at the Houston airport and subsequently a work transfer to Los Angeles, I was forced to drop out. During the following years I kept on scribbling and splashing paint and I would like to show you some of my paintings. I have many more paintings which I would like you to see, but they are under the bed and will stay there until we move apartments! Some of my paintings are hanging in my lawyer’s office as I have no more hanging space in my apartment. It is now about 20 years from the time that I was in Leningrad, Russia, that was the last time that I put brush to canvas.Maybe……….sometime in the future! Arthur Rindner
