Mummies are dead pharaohs that get made into mummies to preseve the

afterlive.

The mummy is wrapped in many layers of bandages linen and cloth.

People weren’t the only things that got mummified!

Cats dogs and cows and mostly all pets got made into mummies.

The amulets were for protection and were also attached to the mummies to bring luck to the afterlife

Canopic jars held all body parts inside the body

The jackel headed god guards the stomech the felcon headed god guards the intestines, the baboon headed god guards the lungs and the humen headed god guards the liver

The coffin is carved to the copy and shape of the mummy and the face is painted lifelike colours ,the rest of the body is painted a plain colour

Coffins are made of wood

Important people such as king or officals had a large tomb made of stone

The mummified body is now in a coffin and is burried in a tomb
