Recommendations

• Scan at highest resolution and store in uncompressed formats to ensure good preservation and high quality printing.

• Make copies and store at more than one location.

• Convert to low resolution, lossy compression for screen viewing.

• Convert to mid resolution, lossless compression for normal printing.
