INITIATING A SELF-REGISTRATION

When Will You Use This Method?

You will use this registration method when

teachers have access to the Internet.

Teachers who have access to the internet

can self-register for DOT Connect.

Initiating a Self-Registration

Log in using your username and password.

Initiating a Self-RegistrationSelect Manage to go to the Manage Page.

Completing a Delegated Registration

On the Manage page, select the Tools tab.

Select Initiate a Self-Registration.

Enter the user’s name.

Enter the user’s email address.

The user’s name will appear in the body of the automated invite email.

Select Send Invite to complete the enrollment.

The user will receive an email asking them to join DOT Connect.

The email will contain a link to the DOT Connect sign up page.

The user will select a username and password, in order to create an account and start the registration process.

The registration code, which will be prepopulated, will ensure that they are assigned to the correct group in DOT Connect.
