Saves Time● Users can just do the following:

○ Copy Site○ Customize Site URL information ○ Update Groups with appropriate Permissions○ Update Setup Configuration information

● Saves Tedium

Site Template Ingredients

● Appropriate Asset Factories● Publishing Destination (disabled)

○ Disabled - will prompt users to update Destination information

● Setup Block○ Site Banner○ Ancestors for prepending to Breadcrumb trail○ Contact Information

● Site Landing Page

Setting up your Site Template

● Create the Site Example as a starting point● Create the Landing Page, if not already

created● Determine configurable areas● Setup Block

○ Create the Data Definition○ Write the format(s)

Round 2

● Create the Common site○ Move all shared assets including blocks, formats,

base assets and administrative components

● Create the Site Template● Test the Site Template
