• If it’s time to re-work your company website, it would be a good idea to sit down for a minute and figure out what that web site needs to do. Chances are it needs to do a lot of blog things (which are hard to build into a non-blog system) and a few non-blog things (which are very easy to build into a blog system).

• H1 Tag: The 1st heading on your page: Website Optimisation Tips and Advise This should be followed by a short paragraph using variations of the target keywords and at all times making good grammatical sense, thinking of the potential reader first and the search engines second

• StevePavlina.com was launched on Oct 1st, 2004. By April 2005 it was averaging $4.12/day in income. Now it brings in over $1000/day (10/29/06). I didn’t spend a dime on marketing or promotion.

Don’t expect instant results

• I think … blogging MUST be like farming. You work and work and work that old brown soil … then months later stuff starts popping up.
