Easily Create and Use Domain Name Email Address Now

Log in to your hosting account and navigate to the cPanel page

Scroll down the page until you locate the Mail section

Click the Email Accounts icon

Add your information to the fields

Click Create Account button

Navigate back to the cPanel screen and Mail section

Click Forwarders icon

Click Add Forwarder button

Enter the email address you just created

Enter you Gmail or other email address you normally use

Click Add Forwarder button

Navigate to the Email Accounts screen and locate the email address you created

Click the More button

Choose Configure Email Client from the dropdown menu options

Keep this screen open in your browser while you open a new tab

You will use these settings to add your new email address to your Gmail account

Open up your Gmail account in a new browser tab

Cick the Gear icon in the upper right corner

Choose Settings from the dropdown menu

Click the Accounts and Import tab at the top of the screen

Click the option for Add a POP3 email account you own

A new window will appear with a field for you to enter the email address you just created

Enter the domain-based email address you created

Click the Next Step button

Enter Username and Password

Copy and paste the Incoming Server address into the POP Server field

Check that the Port setting matches the POP3 Port provided by your hosting service

Click Add Account button

If you plan to send and receive messages from this email address (instead of just having messages forwarded), click the Yes option on this screen

Enter your name or the text you want to appear in the From field when sending messages from this address

Click the box by Treat as an Alias

Click the Next Step button

Copy and paste the Outgoing Server address into the SMTP Server field

Check that the Port setting matches the SMTP Port provided by your hosting service

Enter Username and Password

Click Add Account button

You will need to retrieve the confirmation code

Because you forwarded your new address to your Gmail address, you’ll receive a confirmation message from which to copy and paste the code

Click the Verify button

If you plan to send and receive messages from this email address (instead of just having messages forwarded), navigate to the Forwarders screen with your hosting account

Click the Delete button

Click the Delete Forwarder button to confirm that you want to delete the forwarder setting
