Setting Up Rooms & Advisor Accounts

First, Create an Account in Intermedia.net
Need to change
Individual mailbox
Delivery Options
Advanced
Select “Takeshi Shinagawa”
Start > Control Panel > Mail
Next, Set Up the Account in Outlook

Fill in account details from Intermedia.net4

This window will appear and may seem to freeze on “Search”. Eventually you will be
prompted for the user name and password.

Type new email address and password (same PW as you create on intermedia.net
Account set up! Now launch Outlook to change Calendar settings…
Select account name which was just created.
“Not administrator”
Open Outlook!!!

May take several minutes for the Resource Scheduling window to load

Make sure Default permission level is set to “Author”

If you see this dialogue box,just click “OK”
Account Now Set Up!
1. Close all dialogue boxes by clicking “OK”.2. Wait five minutes for all account data to
finish synchronizing to the Exchange Server.
• You can now close Outlook and reopen to share the added account in the Administrator’s calendar.
Sharing a Calendar
The account is now set up. Click on the Calendar icon at the bottom of the left-hand panel. Scroll down and you will see “Open a Shared Calendar…” You will find the appropriate
account in the Global Address List. (Note that the “bostonlife” address list will be updated within twenty-four hours.)
