• Careful what you add.• These are fading a bit in popularity.• Difficult to prevent others seeing that you

added an application.

Joining Groups

• Groups are actually an application, so joining a group may show up on your friend’s newsfeed.

• Future actions taken in the group can be limited (i.e. if you didn’t want anyone to know you commented).

• You can also hide the fact you joined a group by editing the settings to “only me”.
