The ‘2nd International Symposium of Overglaze and Underglaze Paintings 2011’ which brought 29 ceramic artists, professors and the students of the department together, provided a very enthusiastic atmosphere at Anadolu University, Turkey building strong bridges between countries and artists done overglaze and underglaze paintings during the workshops to reflect their artistic styles and techniques by ceramic decorations. Moreover, the participants gave presentations to introduce their works, lifestyles, countries and their institutions to each other by conferences. By this way they had a respectable effect on our ideas and our impressions with their performances.
We are sharing with you the seens from the last symposium hoping to continue this event in the future to go on sharing and learning and to build up an international interactivity where the all continents meet in the center of Anatolia: Eskisehir.We present our gratitudes to all artists, who contributed to this symposium by their participations and were interested in sharing the exchange of cultures, ideas.
